The Role
ESAN is seeking a Social Media Editor to run the Twitter account and help us increase engagement with the network and the expertise and skill acquisition community. This role will be particularly impactful for this year’s online event.
The successful candidate should be pursuing a career in the area of expertise and skill acquisition. For example, they may be studying for or recently been award a doctoral degree in the area or be actively working in the area. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with the ESAN conference team and be eloquent and concise in communicating information about ESAN and interacting with the network on Twitter. The candidate is likely to have experience of using social media channels in either their professional or personal lives.
The role is voluntary and would require a commitment to attend the conference planning meetings as well as edit the ESAN twitter account. The successful candidate will be provided with guidance to support them in their role. They will be invited to join conference meetings (virtually), gain experience in running ESAN conferences and we hope will be a good career development opportunity for some early in their career.
